SNEAKing in a Workout

Hi guys!

I have to show you my newest love.. Reebok Easy Tone Shoes! I was sent a pair of Easy Tone Shoes to review.. and I have to be honest.. I love them!

The shoes are designed to define your legs and butt while just walking, thanks to the built-in foot pods underneath the shoe. The footpods create instability that makes your muscles work harder, while simply walking.

Studies have proven that your gluteal muscles will get 28% more of a workout just by wearing the shoes. And hamstrings and calves will work 11% harder! Pretty neat.. you can get a workout while shopping, walking the dog, or just doing chores.

I was a little skeptical of the shoes but when I first put them on I automatically felt a difference. I even had to hold in my abs a little to make me feel more stable! It wasn’t that much of an instability.. like I didn’t feel like I was going to fall over or anything but I could feel a difference between regular shoes. I was also afraid that they would look funny and people would notice but I was happy that they looked like normal sneakers!

I wore them all day last Saturday while I was at the art-fair and shopping. By the end of the day  my legs were tired! And the next day my butt was actually a little sore. Not sure if that was due to my workout the previous day.. but I was surprised!

I’ve been wearing them for about a week and I can honestly say I feel my legs working. Especially when you walk uphill.. your butt, thighs, and calves definitely feel the burn. I haven’t worn them during a workout yet.. but I’m sure it’d give an extra boost!

All in all I give it an A+. You guys may want to add it to your Christmas list! You can even personally design the shoes.. too cool!

Thank you Jessie from Reebok for letting me try them out!

  1. How neat that you got to try those shoes out! They sound awesome! I’m always skeptical about the “workout shoes” claims, but it’s good to know that they actually work. Great review April!

Dang how the heck did you get that hook up?? I am major jeal! I saw a commercial for those today and I thought it was such a neat idea. I am always really insecure about my legs so I think these would be awesome for me!

Thanks for the review April! I’ve heard of sandals similar to these. Sounds like they’d be especially good for people with injuries who can only do low-impact activity like walking.

Awesome…thanks! One more question (sorry!) Do the flipflops fit true to size? Thanks!!

I don’t mind the questions at all! :) I normally wear a 7 or 7 1/2 in sneakers and I got the 7 in the FitFlops. I’d say it’s pretty true to size.. if your in between go smaller!
