Hi guys!
I can barely move my hands right now so bear with me.. more on that in a minute
So this morning I woke up to rain and a very hungry tummy. I went with my favorite breakfast.. oats! Today I used this new product I found at Big Lots:

I used:
- 1/2 cup Multigrain Hot Cereal cooked in 1 cup water
- 1/2 ripe banana
- 1/2 cup defrosted strawberries
- 1/2 cup 0% Fage
- 1 tbsp Costco Organic PB
- Cinnamon, ginger, stevia

20 grams
It was so creamy and delicious! I added the yogurt in after I turned off the heat.
It held me through my English and Algebra class and when I came home I was cold and hungry! I automatically made me some tea:

And then I made me some lunch! I used 1 cup of this soup I bought on sale at Vitamin Cottage:

And I added 2 oz fresh deli turkey, 2 1/2 oz cooked chicken tenderloins, broccoli, half a bell pepper, and red pepper flakes:

31 grams
It was so warm and comforting!
The rest of the afternoon was spent doing homework.. I was actually productive for once!
I snacked on some homemade pickles and fresh cranberries a couple hours after lunch for fun:

And then around 5 I had a nice big pre-workout snack of 3/4 cup 0% Fage mixed with cinnamon, ginger, 1/2 mashed banana, and 1 chocolate Heart Thrive:

22 grams
Mmm it was delicious! I had a big pre-workout snack because I already knew I’d have a tough workout! I signed up for 1 Personal Training Session with one of the master trainers.. it’s the one that teaches my favorite classes- kickboxing and the 40 minute ab class. So anyway after I snacked I headed to the gym and man did I get a good workout! He started me off doing boxing.. REAL boxing with gloves! I’ve never really punched anything before.. it was intense! I felt every. single. muscle in my body working..it was a good one! After 45 minutes of that we moved on to legs which he succeeded in killing! I could barely walk afterwards.. LOL! After that I attended the 40 minute ab class and by the end I was pooped!
By the time I got home it was already 8:00. I surprisingly didn’t have an appetite but my muscles were shaking and needed protein stat! So I attempted to make protein crepes with 2/3 cup egg whites mixed with 1 scoop protein powder. It was super liquidy so I ended up adding 2 tbsp wheat bran.. they still didn’t turn out! They tasted fine but they definitely did not have a pancake shape. I topped my scrambled pancakes with cranberries and 2 tsp Sunbutter:

42 grams
Total protein for the day: 114 grams. And boy did I need it!
I have a feeling I’m going to wake up sore and starving! We shall see..

your lunch looks delicious! I will have to try that soup

That soup sounds so good and warming. And I’m loving your add-ins!
Wow, that workout sounds fabulous! How fun to get to have one-on-one time with a master trainer. I’ve always wanted to try some actual boxing. It sounds like so much fun! Hope you’re not TOO sore tomorrow… although at least you’ll know you truly had an intense session if you are!

I’ve used that hot cereal before, and I remember it being delicious. Thanks for the reminder!

Craazy! I was going to make crepes today, then opted not to lol. And I tried that multi-grain hot cereal down in Florida and I liked it! I love blends
I remember when I was in Colombia and I would exercise with my uncle in the park he’d bring boxing gloves, bands, and some gloves he’d use as punching bags. It was so awesome to actually have a moving target and actually have physical contact with something.
p.s. HELLO GORGEOUS!

I am dying to take a boxing lesson!

Ahha, that’s awesome he made you do real boxing! I’ve been toying with the idea of doing a personal training session at my gym. I’m just scared they’re going to stick me on the machines and not really teach me anything valuable…
Love that picture of you! I always do the same with box or canned soups. Turns a pretty crummy dish into an amazing one

I used to take this boxing classes at a real boxing gym and the workouts were SO intense. My back and arms would be sore for days, but it was always fun to take some aggression out on the punching bag.
When I make a “pancake: with just egg whites and protein powder the batter usually is really liquidy. What I do I just pour it into a big omlette pan like I would an omlette and let it sit. It slowly starts to set up and then when it’s pretty firm you flip it. If you want more of an actually pancake consistency try 1/3 c egg beaters, 1/3 c oats (or that quaker multi grain), 1/3 c cottage cheese, and 1 scoop protein powder. Sometimes I even blend in half a banana and the consistency is a lot thicker. Hope that helps! I’m sure I have a post somehwere on my pancakes…
